CrossFit Kids classes are Monday through Friday from 4:45 to 5:30p.
CrossFit Total Control Kids Fitness Program is designed to help children between the ages of 8 through 17 by teaching them proper form and technique in basic movements and exercises. Your child’s coordination, strength, and overall conditioning will increase which in turn will assist them with neurological and cognitive motor skills.
Our classes utilize skill practice, workouts and games along with educating your child to make healthier food choices. Your child will progress through a series of levels as they gain athletic abilities. Children who are involved with CrossFit Kids will become more focused in school and transition into sports much easier due to their enhanced athletic and social skills.
CrossFit Kids is an excellent program for people who want their kids to grow up healthy, strong and fit. It helps to instill good habits and skills that can last a lifetime.
Fundamental movements such as running, jumping, squats, push ups, pull ups, climbing, and basic gymnastics movements are implemented regularly in each class.
Your child will improve their listening and communication skills, hone their ability to follow directions, and play positively with other children. If dedicated to the program, your child’s confidence levels will increase both physically and mentally with each class.
As your child progresses through the program, more detailed skills involving light weight lifting, plyometrics, running, rowing, and stretching will be learned and practiced.
With time and practice, each child will be asked to model movements, lead exercises, and demonstrate the ability to verbally explain exercises. These practices help guide and teach leadership and communication skills that will be carried throughout their lifetime.
